The Author
The author lives at the research site on Panchassee mountain, directly in front of Annapurna in Himalayan Nepal. The Panchassee village culture uses firewood for cooking and so the Vedic nature symbol of Fire lives here. The local indigenous people have no script or books and continue to live a Rig Vedic culture as they always have.
What began as a research project now finds the author married into the indigenous community of Panchassee. Their living nature symbols are described in Rig Vedic hymns. This gives Rig Vedic hymns a physical association to spiritual nature symbols like fire and water. This research also presents parallel Rig Vedic nature symbols in other Eastern cultures to point out that self discovery associations exist far beyond Mother Himalaya. However these ancient self discovery associations can be found in holy mountain pilgrimages virtually everywhere. The author lives on the Pilgrimage route of Panchassee mountain whose goal is the research view of Annapurna.
